Default WTF is a Mustang GT/CS ???

So I was leaving work the other day, and at a stoplight this new black Mustang pulls up next to me with this TOTAL MILF driving it. I look over at the door and at the bottom where you typically see "Mustang" or "GT 500," and it says "Mustang GT/CS". Well, I had no frikkin' clue what this car is, so I'm up for the run

I look over at her fine 40 something year old *** and she smiles. 'Course I smile back and give it a rev. We leave the light gently...I shift to 2nd and hold it at around 3500 RPM and then just romp it. Well a split second later I see her 'Stang jump and she's on it too. She held with me, right on my back bumper, up to about 65 before she just let off...I was impressed. Basically, had we launched together, it woulda been like a head to head run, considering she was just holding on to my back bumper throughout the entire run. So my question, is what the hell is a Mustang GT/CS?

what ******' gets me about it is that there are so damn many of these things runnin around, and nothing really stands out with these s197 other than roush* and the GT500.
everything else is minimal HP gains, fake scoops and badges. screw that crap, make another mach1. a lightweight SVT cobra, not a shelby pig500.

Ahh question answered, thanks guys. Well she sure didn't pull on me at all up to 65mph, just hung in there... wonder if it woulda been a different story on an interstate stretch? I'm not seeing HP figures in that Mustang Heaven link...

according to the site, if you read the long description, its an extra 20 to the rear wheels...what the site says, not my estimate by looking at upgrades.

LG1SC95Z:

So what would that extra 20 put it at? Sorry, not familiar with the HP output of the new GTs.

the base GT model comes with 300hp on the motor, they usually from what i have seen from my friends cars (three of them) on the chassis dyno is around 286-293 rwhp, varied from car to car, on the same dyno which seemed odd to me. they were un-modded but could have been varied due to low miles on two of the cars and the third being more broken in, who knows.

the one to watch out for, is the new bullit. its low production numbers truly make it as niche as a mustang can be, but it comes from the factory with 3.73.1 gear. launching will be much improved over the GT.

sounds good man, you should have a good runner on your hands when you get all that in. gear is a cheap way improve off the line acceleration, cheap as hell too.

i love 3.73
what i have, of course im running 12bolt and alot of power through it, but i raced a 98Z from a dig and only launched on 2400rpm of a possible 4000, and by 60mph had him by 9 car lengths.
he wasnt stock either, auto, shift kit, 125 shot, DR's, lid, longtubes cut outs open, and small cam.

his no stall and no gear = rape
