stock WRX turbo can only handle about 17lbs before it turns to hot air =\ WRX's will typically pull away on top end if they're not limited. Keep in mind that they weight about 3250lbs.. =\ He must have had some turbo work done though

 

yup, anything over 17lbs on that small of turbo is just blowing hot air in and not making any more power. you got burned for sure. i wouldnt be surprised if hes upped the turbo, downpipe and got a tune. time for more power and take him out!
