if u ever go through the antelope valley in california, dont go against a plain lookin satin silver supra(newer model), I was MURDERED by a sleeper straight from hell, I was on my way to the bar and I passed him, just driving regular, well he flashed his high beams at me after i passed him, so I slowed down thinkin it was a regular supra, he pulled up beside me and downshifted and slowly accelerated a lil bit, I could already hear his turbo over my engine, so I went into 3rd and pulled up beside him, by this time he had his turbo spooled up a lil bit, then he hit it and i did the same. he took off like a rocket, my feelings were hurt cuz he beat me so bad, lol. I had no chance whatsoever. but it was fun hearing that thing take off.

 

you win some & you get murdered some lol. its all fun!

Good death. Those supra's can be a bitch to go against, especially with a massive single turbo.

 

I have . I followed the guy to a gas station where he stopped, got out of the car and shook his hand , he was an older guy but guess what, he had the dyno sheet : 1012 RWHP. It was a mean race, I got to 150 MPH and didn't push it any furthur (Not that I would have had a chance or something) and he was way ahead , I ******* RESPECT supras. Period.

Nothing to be ashamed of. I ran a black one in my old Z. It put down 700hp, and ran 12.8 @ 138mph at the track lol. Thought i had a chance given the E.T.

It was actually pretty cool. That ****** TOOK OFF!!!

I wouldnt exactly call any supra's "sleepers" lol....pretty much every single one is not stock....even with a upgraded single turbo, and following basic mods on a bone stock motor they can make some crazy power...never underestimate one....

its always nice to be killed by one tho! lol

 

We've all been there...i pulled up on a mean sounding one an he looked over an just waved for me to go so i hit it an about 2 seconds later he walked me like i was driving a damn civic!! The turbo 6-speeds are straight nasty from a roll!

 

I wouldnt feel to bad bro...I cant remember the last time I beat a supra ha ha. 90% of them are single turbo pushing 500+ hp.

 

Remember roll racing was invented for turbo cars and if yours was turboed it be a different story.

my buddy just resently sold his. it looked like a piece of crap. faded *** blue paint. and all then you have him pop the hood and hear an ominous "AAAAHHHHHH" as you see 20k in a motor with upgraded single turbo 3in piping and all the bells and whistles then look at the rear end for another 30k to make sure all the suspension is there to put his massive *** numbers to the ground. we raced when i was stock right before he sold it. it was like i wasnt even moving. but then he let me ride in it and i didnt feel bad at all.

i was just trying to be funny when i said he beat me so bad it hurt my feelings, i wasnt serious, but he did put me in my place. at that time i was still a little cocky about having the cobra lol
