got murdered
The stock block record is a bit over 1000. Not sure where u get that 650rwhp number from but thats definitely not true. After about 850 to 900 hp you may want to replace the rods but the pistons are fine up to 1k. I put over 100,000 miles daily driven on my last Supra it it made more than 650rwhp. Your facts are quite a bit off. Good death. There is always someone faster. It happens to everyone sooner or later.
believe me, i was humbled! i have centerforce clutch, x pipe, mufflers.

BTW 'telephone game' fanboyzz; it's the bottom ends of your beloved GTEs that is stock on these 1K dyno queens. The rest of the setups are FAR FROM "stock".
Yes... stock shortblock. And congratulations, cuz this is the first of your MANY MANY sarcastic pseudo-humorous comments about Supras (not a fan I'm guessing?) where you didn't say "Nippon giant"
stock shortblock and its still a stock head core, more than i can say for a 1k hp ls1. just because i say its a good motor doesnt mean im a fanboy.
if u ever go through the antelope valley in california, dont go against a plain lookin satin silver supra(newer model), I was MURDERED by a sleeper straight from hell, I was on my way to the bar and I passed him, just driving regular, well he flashed his high beams at me after i passed him, so I slowed down thinkin it was a regular supra, he pulled up beside me and downshifted and slowly accelerated a lil bit, I could already hear his turbo over my engine, so I went into 3rd and pulled up beside him, by this time he had his turbo spooled up a lil bit, then he hit it and i did the same. he took off like a rocket, my feelings were hurt cuz he beat me so bad, lol. I had no chance whatsoever. but it was fun hearing that thing take off.
show me a reliable stock shortblock supra that makes 1000 to the wheels . please show me. everyone talks them up so much and thinks they do not break even look at the supra websites they like 850 for a weekend warrior and 650 for a daily driveable stock shortblock car.
blow me and do your own research. no one said anything about being reliable, how many cars are "reliable" at 1000 hp? more power you make the more **** breaks, its a fact of racing. i guess its a feat to me that a stock shortblock can hold 1000hp, guess its not for everyone you ls1 kids

Well the termi's are known to hold 1000 horsepower also on a stock shortblock but they are not reliable at that range. The reason you see people push those cars so much is because the type of people who own supras are very wealthy or own a shop and are going o rebulid it to begin with they do not not care if it blows up after a few passes. I bet you would get two or three passes out of 1000 horsepower at the most. And trust me i have a buddy who just sold his supra. what does it matter if you put 1000 to the wheels if it wont go down the track with out breaking.

There are people who make 700-800rwhp on their daily-driven Supras, and put tens of thousands of miles on them. The fact that you can put in some race gas, pull a bit of timing, and crank the boost up and make 900-1000rwhp is just a plus. And a Supra with a good setup/tune is gonna last more than 2-3 passes at that power level
What oh whatever will all of you do when there are no more around for you to

once all of the owners destroy their 'indestructable' blocks, or ball up their cars from 180 mph highway roll race crashes??!! Now you're just sounding ignorant. Liking a car and respecting what it's capable of does not make you a "fanboy." Just like I'm not a "Ford guy" just because I happen to own one. How do you not understand this?

Not just any 2JZ swap, but a 2JZ swap with NAS!
. Respectable Death
LOL
