Default LT1 vs new M3

Sorry no video but heres what happened. So my car has been royally F***ed up the past week becaus eo2 sensor on pass side isnt taking a reading so I have been driving around on Fuel cell 9 which I believe is a safety cell or something and its not taking readings from ecm so its real choppy unless its WOT, and on top of it the clutch is slipping real bad I cant even launch in first I just have to start out real slow. So now that's out of the way. Im at a light next to this M3 convt bran new with paddle shifters and we start going just like regular driving which is good since we didnt launch. Then all of sudden before im out of first he nails so I nail it and instantly put two cars on him then I shifted to second and put at least another 3 and by the time I was shifting to 3rd he had to be like 7 or 8 cars back. So we pull up to the next light and him and this cocky kid were like why dont you close the bottle and race LOL. I started laughing and Im like this just has a cam headers and some bolt ons with heads I ported man no N20 in here but if you wanna race for money with the "NITROUS" off I guess im up for it. God why do people in 60000 cars always think you are cheating somehow. It must have been because they had the topdown tooI mean thats good for 8 cars right?

M3s are low 13s. A kid at my school had one that mommy and daddy bought him, and ran a 13.4.. not sure about the trap time. They are nice cars, but hey... why spend that much money on them when you can have a Z06 for the same amount?

They would easily run a stock LT1, but an LT1 with h/c could easily take one. Stock LS1 vs Stock M3, it's the driver's race. A bolton LS1 should kill an M3.

They have no torque, I think it's like 255 ft/lb or something. They are nice cars though... just too much $$$$$.

Congrats on the kill!

Similar ***** kid w/ M3 vert was trying me like mad the other day - while driving in a residential neighborhood (I'm sorry but I won't race where one can plow a kid over). So, we pull up even to a stoplight, and he's there w/ the top down, cap backwards, waiting to hit it. I throw him a rev while looking at him, and his facial expression says "holy ****." He looks over, and says with a crackly voice "hey!, what's up!" I told him "not the right place, let's not do this here." He puttered away and I should have followed him to clear road, but hey, I just went on my way. There will be other chances.

Great kill, congrats!

I know what you meen I graduated this year, yyyeeesssss.
But there was a kid at my school that had one and he thought he was hot ****. I have to agree for the price i would have to go with a ZO6.. Great Kill..

Ya I stole my buddies 2002 M3 6 speed one night and raced a ls1 from a roll on the highway. I stayed pretty close to the LS1 but it pulled slowly on me. It was fun to see how they compared.
