The Cobra was shifting pretty slow, listen to the gap between shifts. It's kinda hard to hear the z06 driver's shifts since the Cobra is much louder.

The win is expected, but good races regardless.

would you get over it? did the cobra in that vid have exhaust and intake? vette started about half a car ahead so had they started even it would have pulled about half a car. we dont know everything about the race in that vid. everyone else has accepted it and moved on except you.

Healthy Pullied Cobra = 119-120mph+ traps
Stock z06 = 115-117mph traps

Nuff said, if the Cobra is running the way it should, it will win everytime. This video is evidence.

Here is another video of a Cobra granny shifting against a stock z06. You can see the clear difference in acceleration. This is with a passenger in the Cobra, and none in the z06.

The Cobra had a 2.76, K&N, UPR X pipe, Magnaflow cat back, and was dyno tuned at Amazon. It put down 471 RWHP. The Vette was 100% bone stock. Both cars had one passenger.

heatsoaked? tires? regardless there will be examples both ways, what matters is the average outcome.

its a close race w/ the edge going to the 03/04, 100 hp is just too much to overcome. this thread is like beating a dead horse w/ another dead horse.

Like I said the driver lost the race. Let's not forget that the Cobra is on drag radials and the Z06 on street tires.

lol. i have a buddy with a pullied cobra here in my neighborhood. 2.76 upper, idlers, midpipe, catback, intake. he would get beat by almost any pullied cobra he raced up top. all of us would put like 4 cars on him up top with the same mods and later we found out, his mail order tune made him run extremely rich.

in this video, either cobra was on a mail order shitty tune or the Z wasn't stock.

would you get over please? your Z ain't faster than a pullied cobra. it has been proven here.

I am shocked the Cobra pulled that hard up top. Just goes to show you how bad the heatsoak is with those cars.

Down in Miami I saw a C6 with B&B exhuast and lightweight wheels, but otherwise stock, absolutly destroy (we are talking bus lengths) a 460whp cobra. So I am surprised by this race a little. V-series tech knows the certain black C6 that I'm talkin about. I wish I could find the video
