I will never stop someone for having a loud car. Hell my car is loud! I figure if people can drive around in an ugly car all day why can't mine be loud. I'm actually a little bias towards Mustang and F-bodies or muscle cars. If you come flying thru town with a fart muffler then you're gonna get the blue light special! The reason I only post in the street racing sections is......... I can't street race anymore!

What elevation do you race at?
My car when bone stock ran 13.2@105mph @ sac raceway my second time at the track w/ a manual trans car. A few weeks later w/ o/r h-pipe,cut in flows,shifter and a UD crank pulley I ran 13.0 @108mph.

It wasn't the elevation. Just drivers ******* up. We all do it from time to time. Here's an example of me vs a supercharged GT, we both **** up:

But just so you know stock Mach 1's run mid to low 13's @103mph to 105mph on a clean run

Ok, Ok. I'm not calling B.S. that you killed a stock Mach 1. 275ish/300ish stock M1 is not going to stay with you from those rolls but I would have thought a stock M1 would have held you to no more than one limo-length up to 130.
Maybe it was a V6 if it sounded like one. One thing MOST folks agree on is that a mustang sounds pretty good even with stock exhaust.

As for the story, its not that the Mach 1 is slow, it was probably just stock. Your car obviously isn't stock, hence why you beat it pretty bad. 80-90WHP is quite a large advantage.
