Default Ran 2 Mustangs

One was a newer one with blue color scheme and white stripes. He got behind me getting onto I4 and I floored it, when he finally did catch up to me, I noticed that it was a guy who works at the same resort that I work at. Next day he asked if I had 3.90 gears in the car cause he couldn't catch me. He wanted to run me at OSW but has now changed his mind. Cool guy though.

About 3 weeks later, I notice a black mustang in the right lane while I was waiting for the light and a mitsubishi behind me, I give it about 2500 rpms to get up to speed to head towards I4. Notice the black mustang speeding up to pass me and says something as he passes my door and stays about 1 car in front of me (his rear bumper to my front bumper). I look and see that it says bullit on the rear (thought those cars came in green not black). I hear him hit it, then I hit it (about 55mph roll), I walk him and his face is priceless as my door is passing his. I put my rear bumper to his front bumper and let off. He honks as he drives by and I get onto I4. The mitsubishi from earlier was behind me and then pulls along side me and it's the owner of the blue mustang that I had run a few weeks earlier and he was nodding his head.

I spoke to him the next day and he said that he told the mustang driver that my car was running some power when we were waiting at the light and the mustang owner told him that he would get me on the parkway. He set me up I tell ya.

Thanks guys, I'm still wondering how much of a difference a change in gears would make. I have my eyes set on 3.42s, a good inbetween gear for street/strip.

Great kills. Those 3.42s will do WONDERS for you in every department (except gas mileage, that is...).

Well they'll help me more on gas mileage in city driving and hurt a bit in highway driving. But I'm getting killed in city driving as it is 14mpg but get 24mpg on the highway now.

By all means not calling BS on your story. I just was wondering how you ran a 12.2 with just a lid and a converter and dr's. I know stock with dr's I've seen 12.92 @ 107. That is pretty darn amazing.

He ran at Atco... that track is known to be "fast." It's slightly downhill from what I hear.

Yes I ran at Atco and got my best time there with a high mph at about -1900 DA but if you watch the 12.27 vid that I linked in my sig, that was taken at Raceway Park in Englishtown. At that time I was launching the car at 3500rpms.

Car leaves too soft off the line now, best so far was a 12.5 @ 113 in +900 DA with a 2.1 60' launching at 3500rpms and no, the car wasn't spinning. The car runs the 1/4 in 1st and 2nd gear now and very briefly in 3rd which is why I need the gear change.

Been so long since I ran it with the old tune but it may have bogged just slightly. Didn't look at the rpms when I took my foot off the brake.

On a side note, saw both mustangs yesterday after work. Now the guy with the bullit knows that the other guy with the mitsu has a mustang as well since they were both talking after the bullit guy pulled up next to me and then nodded at me.
