FASnakes, your car does definitely does move out for a vert! ... And that's with a 2.93 pulley. I ran a 2.93 pulley for a while when I first got my car. There's a drastic difference between the 2.93 and a 2.76.

But eh, who cares... you should have a Whipple coming in soon, right?

Aint that the truth? Honestly, there's just a small difference between vert and hardtops. And that Cobra isn't stock, definitely easier to understand why it moves out like that.

It's a lot more believable for the vert to be slower b/c of weight/drag than some people on here saying the headlights on the Vette cause too much drag...I mean how freakin rediculous is that

True. But T/A guy and Vette guys alike do talk about how they hear a bunch of wind flowing by the headlights at 100+mph. Kinda believable. They are big *** headlights.

What?? You are basically saying that the headlights should be up to make the drag even for both cars....?? If thats the case, then lets just add 700lbs to the Z also so they can be the same weight.

thats because your brand loyalty blinds you. it appeared to me that in every race the cobra seemed to be pulling up top. the few that the z got out on he was able to hold off the cobra. but each race looked as if the cobra was stronger.

LOL I dont have brand loyalty, if I could have found an 03-04 Cobra at a dealer a year ago or so Id have one of those instead of a GTO. My dad has an 03 Cobra. I dont get where you get this brand loyalty from, oh what thats right you REALLY know me dont you?
