That sucks about the track. Last time I went I had a similar experience. No traction in first or second, spun right out to the limiter in both gears and had to short shift to third to even finish out the run. I busted out a NASTY 12.5 at 116. I only trapped 86 in the 1/8 if that's any indication of how much I was spinning bottom end of the track and how much it was picking up top end.

Stupid Nittos and their suckiness...

Yes lol. The track had just did a re-pave and there was like no rubber or vht down. It was literally like racing on ice for the first 1/8th. I ran a 13.8 @ 120mph getting out of it about 5 times.

I've heard its gotten a lot better since its starting to warm up maybe you should try again since there's been some rubber laid down along with more VHT...still couldn't be as bad as SAR

I actually liked Temple... that's where my old GS-R got its best time (first time I ever ran it in the 1/4), and that's where JamRWS6 ran his 12.99 @ 110mph with just SFCs and a whisper lid. Of course that was almost 5 years, so I guess the re-pave crapped it all up

No way man, SAR >>>>>TAD all day. Everyone runs .2 to .4 faster and atleast 2 t0 3 mph faster at SAR than temple. If you saw the way that track is now you would shake your head, I hook better on the highway from a dig than on temple.

Temple has went down hill with a quickness, the current owner has let it go to ****. Hell there is gravel on the track...

I haven't been up there since they repaved everything so maybe you're right but SAR is still sorry on its TnT and Midnight Madness nights.

its a well known fact they very rarely ever prep the track on test and tune nights. you want to run on a prepped track you need to go sat. that being said tad is a pos. even after they repaved it the track still has dips and the really need to extend the track so you have more time to slow down. but for 10 bucks and being legal i dont mind going for ***** and giggles.
