Just as an example, my friend wanted to race my car from a roll with both cars in 4th gear. I had a bolt-on LS1 (344/356) and he had a bolt-on 350Z (245/230). We were dead even for a good while until my rpm's came up. I was like WTF!? I found out later that 5th gear is 1:1 in a 350Z.

First off, the car is not under 400rwhp (430rwhp). I stated it's 350rwtq @ 2500rpm (peak RWTQ 403). Second, you brought up that I would not pull on you. I stated I was racing a stock car and just as your car has 200rwhp over me, I know guys with 200-300+rwhp over you, that would look at your car as you look at mine.

Dave has no reason to lie. The pedaling thing isnt from loss of traction, but coming off the floor andf back down again with the gas pedal. Whats spo hard to believe? A 420rwhp fbody in 5th gear cant pull a 300rwhp GTO in 4th gear... better rear gearing, more power, less weight... seems like simple math to me.
If I were going to make up a story, it would be a lot better than this.
