Default Me v.s. a 347 stroker Mustang

So i was at the local meet on friday night n there was actually a lot of people there that usually arent. Alot of the tampa crew came out. I was looking for a race all night n couldnt find anybody until i was about to leave. As i was walking to my car n to my surprise this early 90's mustang pulls up and it sounded pretty good so i said what the hell ill wait around for a lil while. We all started talking n my friend with a hatchback honda wanted to race him from a dig because he just got the spray on and the nittos. So i asked the guy if he wanted to race me from a roll on the way back n he said sure. So we go out to the local spot n they line up n do there thing. To my surprise the honda actually yanked him outta the hole till about 110. So now its my turn. We went from a 45 roll n i honk it off. On 3 we punch it n i actually jumped about 1/2 a car (he said he was spinning) by the time i slammed 3rd i had about 1 car on him. Once he hit third he finally started to catch and at the end of third he was at my front fender but when he shifted to fourth i jumped bout a fender or so on him. I guess he couldnt shift all that well lol. We finally shut down at 125 n i believe he only had me by about a fender. I was so surprised that i stayed that close to a 347 stroker mustang. He also had 3.73 gears. All i have is a catback, lid, and a shifter. I guess the driver mod makes a difference lol . Thanx for reading n sorry it was so long

good run...some of the more generic 347's are built w/ lackluster aftermarket heads that our stock heads outflow...drives em crazy

Whats the CCC lol? You could pm me if you want to. We met at the hudson meet. If you go on tampa racing n look up the hudson forum you could see who all goes there. Its usually a good turnout you should make the trip up here one day.

Courtney Campbell Causeway. One of the major bridges stretching from Tampa to St. Pete. Its over 1/2 a mile straight in some sections. Yes I'm on TR. Same screen name. -Mark
