Default my first kill of the summer.

It was an newer SS camaro. I dont know what it had but it could not have been stock cause i only pulled him buy like 3 cars. We started at the light and i launched like a champ and then powershifted IN to 2 and at the middle of 3rd he had enough. My car is not running anywheres as well as it should. Im running a bone stock tune and a broken Fpr . So the car is un tuneable right now.

Okay, I'm pretty lost right now. You have a 96 trans am, but all the pictures are of a 98+ trans am. I see an engine swap and rear end swap ... but no description. The sig also tells us nothing about your car at all?

Any info for those of us who don't know what you have done?

If I had an LT1 bird, I'd probably swap the front, too. LS1 birds are so NASTY. If I had the money I'd do a frontend swap with my LT1...

Well, I was thinking that at first, but the whole front end looks to be 98+. I looked into doing that on my old LT1 ta ... and you have to replace ALOT of stuff in order for it to work.
I would think that just selling the 96 and getting a 98+ would be much cheaper then going through all that work, plus the engine swap, etc etc.
Either way, the car looks nice.

I refuse to run other F-bods on the street unless they provoke me (it's kinda cannibalistic). On the track however, it's a free for all.

What are you talking about my car is bone stock . Its a 96 ta converted to the 2001 front end. It only cost about 3 grand for the parts to convert it. I hate listing all my mods . So i just say i have a few. its faster to list the things that are still stock. (Control arms, chassis, shift boot, dash, windows, antenna, sway bars, radiator) thats about it. I only like racing other TA's. Its the only real challeng out there. Any time you pull up to one you know its going to be a good race. Unlike those stupid imports, They will look all mean and sound bad. But then you end up racing them and all you ended up doing is wasting your gas. Cause you blow them away so bad you have to pull over and wait for them to catch up to talk.

So uhh, does it still have the LT1 in there, or did you swap the engine and stuff too?

Very nice ... sounds like a pretty mean car.

You have any dyno results/track times?
