Killed a 600+RWHP Supra in my bottle fed Z A local guy went a couple weeks ago and picked up a Black single turbo Supra from SW. I'm sure most of you have heard of him. The car is just plain BAD A$$. I'm talking CLEAN!!!! I was Very impressed. And you know I had to pick on him before he figured out to drive it. We went about three time's from 50-120mph or so is where i let off. I was on the 100 shot. I dont know how high he was boosting. He did have more. The car Dyno'd over 600 on med boost he was told. I'm sure there was more in the car fo-sho. I'v ran supra's before and they freggin HAUL on top end!! But either way i came out ahead three time's in a Row. My first hwy runs on the button. The 4.30 gears and the N20 just shot me out a couple car lenghts FAST then i would SLOOWWLY pull off. It was Fun. I'd say about 4-5 car length lead by 120 so i just got out of it.
We will run again after he figures out how to handle all the new POWER! He said he would turn it up next time. I guess ill have to put the 150 shot jets in and hope for the best. I do plan on him either hanging in there or walking me them. BUT i have my glory for now.

Re: Killed a 600+RWHP Supra in my bottle fed Z Your car should be making 520rwhp or better....With the advantages of instant Nitrous power and your friend not being the best driver it isn't suprising you pulled him. Single turbo Supras have a very high powerband and you really have to rev it into full boost to take advantage of it.

Re: Killed a 600+RWHP Supra in my bottle fed Z the torke of the nitrous is what keeps you pullin, horsepower's great but if you dont have the high torke to back it up, it wont get you anywhere, good kill though, he musta been sick after just buying a 600 hp supra and knowing he paid well over 25 grand right?

By the numbers in your sig, you also have to factor in your ability to drive your car well. 11.5xx with a 407rwhp MN6 F-body is very impressive. And I am sure that Supra is badass. SW does everything top notch so I am sure your buddy got a fine ride....and if I had to guess, Assassin, he paid WELL over 25 grand for that thing.

I have no doubt the race will not be so one sided next time. It's all in good fun. I was just boared last night and posting my story.

Re: Killed a 600+RWHP Supra in my bottle fed Z There is a black one with a single turbo in my town boasting 400+ horse. Very nice looking cars. This one has the target stlye top and is the last year of production I believe. Grats on the kill and good luck with the next race

Three Single turbo guys (well one just sold his) They Dyno HIGH and are FAST on the HWY. But i've yet to see them run too good at the strip. 2 of them have made 11 sec 1/4 passes. But they were two of the stock turbo guys. The Sigle guys just need get the launch down like the other's and they could FLY. Supra's are FAST if drivin right from what i have seen. Just not to user friendly at the strip. JMO. Still Very respectable cars.

I run the exact 1/4th time as you my last time at the track so i shouldnt have a large problem witg a few particular sups around here. But im pretty sure the onces i may deal with can really drive there cars.

Just watch out going from 100 to 150 without further tuning. U must feel great! I know I would.
There is this 600hp Skyline GTR that killed me a long time ago. I see him around but haven't connected with him lately after my mods. The day that I return the favor, I know I've reached my goal. He is kindda like a progress stick to me.

Re: Killed a 600+RWHP Supra in my bottle fed Z You must have a fast car. SW's Supra was at about 900rwhp. It was the first full interior Supra to run over 150 mph through the 1/4mile. I think he ran a 9.8 with a 130 shot. His new ride should be quicker and faster. He really must not be able to drive if the race was from a roll....
