HAHAHAHAHAHHA. Fun 14s. I never heard that one before. I'm using that one, instant classic. If I wanted a fast car though, I would have bought one. As you can tell with my last 2 cars in my sig, I have strange tastes. I plan on buying a fast car within the next 2 years here, I'll be the proud owner of a G8 GXP, that's my goal for a fast car. I'm a fan of family cars, and the tC just isn't doing it for me anymore.

haha that was actually a typo (i meant run 14s lol), but it does sound good -- I may actually keep using that.
I'm just busin chops really. I used to have a supercharged cavalier that ran (at one point) 14s -- eventually got to 13s. You work with what you got, and as long as it makes you happy and you have fun with it

It all depends, you might win. I have helped my friend put his forged motor in his Tc which is going to be an absolute monster in about a month. When he was running a stock motor and 10psi (can't remember the turbine for the life of me), he dynoed 317whp and like 330tq. We did a roll on from 40mph in my 99 which had at the time-LS6 intake-Longtubes/catted y/Loudmouth/4.10s-tuned and an LS7 clutch power shifting, I didn't inch away from him until about 115. Those cars can make some really good #'s if you push them. But he fried his rings pushing 12psi a bit to much. If he messes up, you win gaurenteed.
If it's the same kit and it's from ZPI industries, be careful. That's what my buddy Dave had before. Although he would race 2 other Turboed Tc's in town and spank the crap out of them. All depends on the kit he has.

He's going to smoke me with a Magic Stick 3 with PRC 5.3 heads. I would say that's pretty good don't you think??? And truthfully his car is quieter than you think it is and how many Tc's do you see running around with Darton Sleeves, JE internals, and 9.1-1 compression with a GT35R???. Don't get me wrong, i love LS series motors. He's going to smoke a majority of people on this forum. Power is power unless it's a Honda, then it's just stupid. I'll put video of us on here when we race at the track.
Sorry to hyjack the thead for a sec, my bad.

theres a XB around me thats turbo'd..not to fast at all and blew the motor once.. with the just the bolt on kit. the turbo is so small prob a 2in inlet. its not to bad when u start off in the 15's-16 add a turbo and go 14's. close to 2 sec faster.. i went low 13's put a turbo on and went 11.0 all stock.. u can only compare over all performance gains. thats all they got haha

Interesting thread. I didn't know turbo upgrades were a big market for TC's. I see that Toyota TRD offers a supercharger, but that only brings it up to 200hp at the crank.
So turbo'd TC's are hitting 300+ rwhp? Crazy.
