If its from a dig, might be a drivers race. From a roll, I am thinking you will win or at least tie. I raced a bunch of turbo cars this weekend which have much better engines than a scion, and won by a little each time. Same mods as you with smaller wheels ( stock snowflakes )

No problem for your car. I've raced TWO turbo TC's in my A4 Z-28 from a roll and took them pretty easily. Only mods I had were Lid/Catback & DR's. From a dig it would have been a straight up raping for the TC's. (A4 on DR's )

Yeah, i have the same mods but i'm on street tires. They stick pretty well though...Sumitomo Htrz II's.. yeah from a dig i'm thinking the same as he didn't seem that great at shifting.

you will kill him.
i've raced a turbo'd tc from a dig and it wasn't pretty, by 80-90ish he gave up. i probably had 2-3 cars on him. i spun bad through first, else it would have been worse.
im stock 05 m6 gto.

By low 15s you mean mid/high 15s correct? 160hp, 2900lbs -- not exactly light for a 4-banger. From reading there forums just now, it seems there average stock time for a GOOD run is 15.4-15.6 give or take a tenth

Turbo tC's are really easy to put together too. Not only is it cheap for a small ebay or even brand name kit, they are easy to install for even a simple DIY guy.
A Good custom set-up though, will runn well over $6k. We have a guy on my board who bought a fully forged motor from ZPI and put together his own set-up. So far it's cost him a little over $10K total, that includes the set-up he had on the original motor. He was running some .60 trim before. I have no idea what he runs now. I still think he's waiting on a tune or something like that. I don't know, I stopped keeping updated with his thread, too much offtopic discussion. Here is the thread if you want to read through all the garbage.

Eh, they look nice anyway's, but to spend all that money to get them into mid 14's...... Screw that noise. Too much money spent on a car that's going to be slow no matter what. They are fun to take around auto-x though.
