MevsCousin Ok I have a 1998 formula with 25k on the clock it has 3.73's nittos slp long tubes 2.5 exhaust with slow 10's mti lid and all the free mods and a hypertech
my Cousin has a 2002 with 70k with same headers slp lid 3.73 bfg's 2.5 exhast borla xr-1 no free mods and a hypertech....
Why is he still beating me only by like a car tho

Yeah, the LS6 intake would do it, not to mention we know nothing about the driver mod on either car, which can make a gigantic difference.
PS - I'm bringing back "gigantic". Although, "ginormous" has technically been added to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, it lost it's appeal after hearing everyone say it five billion times a day.

Plain and simple...... Some cars just run better than others from the factory. It is a well known fact that the 01-02's ran a little bit harder than the earlier year when stock or near stock. LS6 intake? Better factory tune?
My boys 02 firehawk would get my 00' Z-28 by about the same margin everytime we raced. He was actually bone stock and i had minor mods. Guess his car is just a runner. So i got my SS and i pull a car or two on him now (from a roll) thanks to my LT's and ORY
