Hazards = You win, but it's ricer. Don't do it please.

Agree on terms before the race:

amount of money (have a trusted person hold the money for both parties)
Chase = race
Break in burnout box = ro race, no pay
Break off the line = pay
neutral flagger
lane choice
spots (if needed by either party)
starting line and finish line markers
VHT is ok to use
Don't hussle friends for money

never hang at the "track" longer than needed for the race, don't burn the track or meet spot by acting like a jackass (doughnuts, WOT passes for no reason, burnouts for no reason, loud music, yelling for no reason, you get the point)

Just a few i can think of off hand.

** oh yeah, if your gonna run a hussle, don't be a bitch when you get caught **

Some are good enough not to get caught, others are not. I am not, so i don't try lol. My friends, are very good at it though. Sometimes the best hussle is to be straight forward and upfront. Most guys will assume you are trying to pull one over one them and it throws them off their game.

VHT TRACKBITE COMPOUND is a custom formulated resin that provides controlled traction for competition racing. VHT TRACKBITE is a liquid track and tire treatment, which improves traction on asphalt and concrete surfaces. It achieves added traction by means of adhesion and does not soften tires. It will not harm asphalt and concrete and is biodegradable when dry. VHT TRACKBITE can be applied with a roller, brush or can be sprayed directly on the tire or track. The chemical compounds used provide maximum adhesion in all types of weather, it is water-resistant and is not washed away by rain. VHT TRACKBITE was applied to the track during every race when world drag strip records were set over the past decade. NHRA & IHRA approved, sold worldwide to record setting drag strip tracks.

IDEAL FOR USE IN ALL TYPES OF RACING ON HARD SURFACES, INCREASES TRACTION REGARDLESS OF WEATHER CONDITIONS, WEIGHT OF VEHICLE OR HORSEPOWER.

Application: Apply a small amount of VHT TRACKBITE in front of drive wheels. Spin rear wheels with minimum engine power. Avoid hard burnouts whenever possible. Where liquid burnouts are prohibited, apply directly to tires with a brush, roller or sprayer.

What I always go by is let the slower car get the hit (unless it is for money). Example...If I know my car (or think my car) can beat the car that is trying to race me I give him the hit. Its just something I have always done. If he honks I will go by it. But if I'm not racing for money or a setup race I don't honk out a race, I always give the hit.

Don't try to videotape a race while steering and shifting with cars around you.

What?!?! Why not? I don't get it!!

One thing I can't stand is arrogance after a race. If you win, be courteous and compliment the other car. If you lose, do the same. I CAN'T STAND when I'm like, "Good run, that thing is quick!" and I get "I know!" or "It does ok" That's rude and makes me want to stab jaws!!! Not that this happened to me last night or anything, i'm just sayin!!

I hate when I win and try to give a thumbs up or somethin and the ricer just flys off on by.

Never had that problem when running muscle cars...

I do this same exact thing.

I would add to this list that if you cut into the other guy's lane at any point, you pay, regardless of whether or not he chased you. This happened to a buddy of mine one time and they got into this big thing with the other party because the other guys were saying "A chase is a race", but the other guy also pulled into my buddy's lane as he was about to get passed so that my friend couldn't pass him and lost. That was an interesting night.

...or a ricetard who will not take a hint after multiple butcherings!!!
Sometimes you must explain things in the ONLY language they understand (but often even THAT does not work!! ).

it would be a decision based on experience, experience will clue you in. some things that will hint to this type of ricer may be:

colored rear blinker lights - which means he loves to blink blink at v8's
if he rides by farting at you before you even race
if he has a passenger - you know he will want to show off
if there are more than one rice rocket riding around together
if his tint is not dark enough and you can tell he is looking at your car more than the road
if his rice rocket were to smoke you, you could see yourself in your own lap

I want to emphasize not flashing hazards. People who do that look like douche bags.

Most things are common sense. No excuses, dont be arrogant, give a thumbs up etc..
