They are AWD, which means they will loose more hp from the crank to the wheels, also the reason they are soo good from a dig is due to AWD, you can launch at 5500rpms and take off like a bat out of hell. They only way a EVO will take a ls1 car from a roll is if it has cams and bolt ons or a new turbo.

They aply break to force the engine to work harder at the speed they want to keep.

lol thats the dumbest thing i have ever heard, its not like it makes the car have more hp, 230hp to the wheels is 230hp to the wheels. If you are already moving and you put it in a lower gear and your at peak boost your not gonna make anymore power by doin that

your about retarted.. Have you heard of turbo lag or anything?? It's like you putting your car in a higher gear you still have the same HP just cant move it as fast.. same thing with brake boosting. It helps the car take off at a higher rpm and with more boost.
Higher RPM = higher PSI = more HP
Maybe someone else can explane it better to you.

Brake boost eliminates the turbo lag in a roll race. Even if you're in a lower gear, it still takes a little time for the turbo to spool up.

But an evo rolling would have almost no lag it would be jsut an instant, sounds liek alot of strain to save under a second of lag

Not if you are going too fast for a lower gear and have to go from the bottom of your current gear. Retard. Pay attention.

It causes strain for sure. But while in the grand scheme of life a second is not much, raccing it means W or L.

Lol yes but an evo would be spooled by 3300rpms and a tuned evo by 2800-3000 or so. So its not like you wouldnt be in the rpm range just the boost isnt up yet. I own 2 turbo cars and i wouldnt ever do that lol No wonder people brake there evos left and right.

BTW thanks for calling me a retard, that was necessary

well it depends on how big the turbo is. I't like trying to get your 60' down. but for them rolling. We put our cars through a lot of strain for under a second just for better 60's...

They put those cars through more hell launch than we do lol, 5500rpms launch tends to grenade trannys, so basically they are raping there cars at all speeds lol

trust me brake boosting makes a hell of a diff. especially on larger turbo cars. but if this evo is a 12 sec car then it would have to have decent top-end also to pull it out on the far side of the track so i dont know how a stock t/a would walk it. but alotta factors carry on hwy rolls so good loss and kill
