Ok, well here's the story again...
I was going to sell my Mustang anyway and get a Wrangler till I finished with school. In the middle of me looking, my mom (previous owner of said S2000) asked how much I think I could get for my car. I told her around $10k, and she said, "Well how about I give you my car, and take your's to get back the downpayment on a new car I just decided to get?" So of course I said yes, mom got an '01 Vette Z51/6spd, and the Mustang is for sale

You mean roads like this? I've got a bike for that. Even if I wanted a car that handled really well it would still have to have some *****. I just don't think you can replace the feeling of being pinned back in the seat with handling. If it did both though that would be great.

I like S2000's but they need more power. But when you do that then you have to worry about breaking the diff. Then it costs so much to get power out of them it really not worth it. I think S2000's are better suited for women or old people that just want to get out and cruise.

Well **** 99% of people don't even GO to the dragstrip... doesn't mean their cars might not be capable of good times.

Some of us do but I prefer a BMW for that. I love my F-Body but a BMW is a more balanced car for carving up the twistys. The torque of the BMW sucks for straight line stuff but when the road turns twisty the bimmer really shines. I have owned several of both cars for those that would like to challenge my knowledge of the subject. A Vette is close but not quite there. I have to admit I don't have a lot of road time in the C6 but the ones I have driven are still just not quite there.

S200's are pretty slow..14.0-14.6 car at 94-99 mph is tha average..But they can handle around a twistie course very nicely...I personally think they are hideos with the top up and dont care much for them..
..BUT...
When my 99 Viper was dead stock pushing 410 rwhp I raced a S2000 that was BUILT with a supercharger pushing 350 rwhp...From 50-100 mph we were door to door and finally from 100-140 mph I put 2 cars on him..Earned my respect thats for sure and I no longer underestimate them..

High 14s? You're just stupid claiming that. My BONE STOCK Integra GS-R ran a 14.97... please tell me why a RWD car with 70hp more can't run considerably better? Since all 2000-2003 S2000s are almost EXACTLY the same performance-wise (which cannot be said about LS1 F-bodies), if one can do it, then yes... basically all of them can. Like I said, with the right driver/conditions, they are capable of high 13s.
so no matter how u look at it...thats the outcome that i was expecting
and for reference
2000 Honda S2000 5.5 14.2
2003 Honda S2000 6.3 14.9 (Manual)
2004 Honda S2000 5.8 14.2 (MT Mar '04)
2006 Honda S2000 5.5 14.0 (C&D May '06)

I stated I don't have a lot of seat time in a C6. I am talking about balance and feedback and the feeling of it more than pure capabilties. The BMW feels better and gives more feedback than a Vette. The Vettes steering is overweighted and doesn't provide very good feedback as to what the tires are doing. The M cars are close in capabilities as well as providing the feedback and feeling that you have control of the car. I wasn't starting **** I was merely stating my observations having experience with both cars. The Vette will likely outrun any BMW on a roadcourse except some of the M cars it just doesn't feel as poised and communicative. That was the point of my post not that a BMW is a better handling or faster car. Its just a more rewarding experience in my opinion and several others if you read the feedback from owners and magazines. I don't place much value on magazines though. Sorry if that wasn't clear from what I stated earlier.
