Finally raced my brother Lt1 vs LS1 My brother has a 94 Z28 with ory, flowmaster catback, cold air, gutted cats and a m6 with 3.42's, my mods are listed below. We raced both times from a stop 3 honks and i pulled out a car and a half by 70 and i shut it down. The next one was him giving the ready set go with me spinning a little and the same outcome. I was still pulling hard when i let off the gas. Qtr mile would have been damn ugly! I thought it would have been a little closer with him being a good driver and me not having a stall. My first kill and it was my brother, seeing the look of disappointment on his face kinda ruined it for me.
plus how can he have an ORY and gutted cats unless he only wants to pass visual and spent alot of $$$ on cats only to gut them? Trending Topics

He will get over it. I have a cousin that has a 99gt with exhaust and cai who thought he had the baddest car in the world. Back then I had a firebird v6 and he always dissed on me. Now I have my new car he won't even race me. I would love to beat his *** in a race and watch him cry!

Cats..... The cats is gutted to pass the visual inspection in NC. Man was that all you got out of the story was a cat and ory conflict??? Anyway....we did to more runs tonight from a 40mph roll. Her caught me by suprise this time, i gave him the hit both times and he jumped out about a 3/4 of a car length and i had to make up grounds. I walked him down and had at least a solid car length by 80. He wants one more run and i'll try to get some footage this time.

Some headers would really help out that lt1. Buddies car picked up big with just a set of mac mids and I have mac mids to install on my 96z also. And 4.10 tires on the lt1 would require nitto drag radials or et drag radials to hook up. My 97 ta m6 slowed down on street tires with 4.10 gears.No way could hook it up. Fun gears though.
And a stall would be a sweet mod for you as well. Nice 3200 vig or 3500 tci or whatever. Huge improvement..again assuming you can get traction .

He said by the time i come back it will be a different story. Hopefully then i will have lt's, ls6 intake, udp's, a torque arm and a good tune. My other brother with an 89 LX stang is talking big $hit. He is still stuck in the late 80's when the foxbody was a strong contender. All he has is an h-pipe, flowmasters, and cold air.

Sounds like some good races tho. I wish my bro would get something fast so we could race instead of his garbage bmw

At least you get to race your brother mine won't even ride in my car with me. He drives a grandmas car and does not believe in speeding. I ask him all the time how do you enjoy life without speed.
