My buddy borrowed his friends Z06 this weekend (corsa, unsure of other mods. mostly stock) so today we had to bring it back, I was following and we decided to have a little fun. All runs for me were off the bottle, In addition, 3rd gear is shot . First race was starting around 70-80. i was in 4th he was in third. both hit it and i inch out. By the time he hits 4th im up in RPM and about a car and a half out. by about 140-150ish i see him starting to creep, and we both let out. next race was from a dig. 1st was about even with him up about a fender, slammed second and pulled hard up until about 7K. finished around 1/2 to 1 car up. All in all a good couple races.

Shortly after we hit some twisties where i did pretty good, but the Z06 was just too damn slippery. as we hit a corner at around 70-80 (in a 35) we see a cop headed the other way. Sure as **** he gets us both. Cool cop though. He gave us a warning due to being military, and told us "If you boys had been dicking around in a honda or toyota i would've had your ***. Dont let it happen again." Lucky night for us and a few good runs. mods in sig.

Dang could of been nasty outcome with the cop. Should plan out the races a little better.

i have a tr230 cam and PRC LS6 heads, unmilled. Dyno was a shade over 400RWHP with the nitrous tune. the bottle is on a 100 shot but was unused. Planning on a second stage . thanks for the kind words guys. cop was indeed awesome

Very nice. Sounds fairly similar to my setup and almost the same power. The only Z06 I ever ran was an 01 with an air intake and I pulled him pretty good. I've been wanting to run an 03 or 04, but haven't seen one yet.
