Default T/a vs Corvette

Im going to skip the big long story. Its too late for all that bs.

Me: 02 T/a Auto, SLP LID,Flow Pac, Hypertech tune,Full Exhaust
Him: 07 Vette Bone stock w/ 6 speed.

First race: 60roll, he jumps but i chase anyways.. he had me 1 car at 120

Second race: 60roll, Dead even till 105 ish then i put maybe a full car on him to 130. A very close race.

Third race: 25roll, 3 beeps, I have bald tires and spin badly... by 70 he has 2 cars on me. We shut down at 100 with him about a 1.5-2 cars ahead.

What do you think? how'd i do ?

eh? Your first post says you already have a tune? You shouldn't really need a full dyno tune unless you are going into the engine.

BTW was it a 6 speed manual or auto Vette?

As for stalls I can't see the point going any less than 3500rpm, but if you plan on a wild cam you might want more.

With an auto from a roll I think you did better than I would have guessed if you had asked me before the race. Good runs! Some tires and a stall and it won't even be a race from a dig.

my car with the stock stall actually held it's own with other stock vettes on the hwy! but yea I suggest a 3600-4000 stall!

What rear gear are you and Omega Doom running?

I didn't know stock 07 Vettes were/are that slow. Glad I passed on buying one. ( maybe it was a driver mod problem on his end )

I have basically the same mods as you and I don't see that happening at all.

It is a street race and anything can happen I guess...

Nice kill.

Sounds like you did very well. I, too, would have expected you to get walked, but it makes the outcome that much better for you!

You stayed even with him in 2nd gear from a 60 punch to 105 then shifted into 3rd and then YOU started walking him up to 130?

You must have some very nice weight reduction. Sell me your car!

Again, nice kill.

If the guy knew what he was doing he should have pulled you pretty hard especially after 100

So youre beating a car trapping 114-117mph with a 2:73 auto with full exhaust only? Impossible. He was playin with you, unless he cant drive.

Anything can happen on the street, so good kill.

As far as what stall to get, I love my Yank 3600. Good street manners and great 60's

Maybe he couldn't afford the LS2-3 in the vette so he ordered it with a V6? That should run about dead even with him!! LOL// ARE YOU ******* KIDDING ME MAN? (Sorry for the outburst)!!

Look at whats in my sig.. I might put a car or 2 on a stock C6 M6 vette from a roll to 130mph. From a stop it's a whole different story!!
