Hinsons is in Birmingham which is only about 50 miles away but this was'nt him.

I agree it should which is exactly why after hearing what he had it suprised me that I was catching up at all. But I'm not going on what SHOULD happen I am going on what DID happen. I would just like to get a rematch & I think it would be a pretty good race. It does'nt bother me at all to lose, if it did I would'nt come on here telling everyone about it.
He may have had traction problems, he may have an unhealthy motor, he may have been playing with me (I don't think so cause he did'nt even wait to honk it off), he may just have a bad combination of parts. I am not trying to argue that I am ready to take on ever LS7-RX7 there is, all I am saying is that this particular one did not run as hard as my car on this particular day. I'd like to give my car a fair shake, that is the first time I have ever missed a gear in a street-race & he seemed like he was in a big hurry to get somewhere so we did'nt get to run again.

Its definately possible but to see a LS1 in a RX7 is somewhat rare...a modded LS7 in a RX7 is next to impossible I'd bet. Maybe in a year or so. If I had done the swap I'd have pictures all over the internet!!!

Not everyone with a fast car is "all over the internet". I know quite a few brutally fast car owners that have never been near a car forum. They prefer to come out, rape you, take your money and disappear.

i dont see it near impossible at all... just cause youdidnt do it, or cant doesnt mean someone else didnt or couldnt.. unless i look under someones hood and see it for myself, if they tell me they had an ls7 in their car, they have an ls7 in their car.. untill i find reason not to believe them..

I now consider it my duty to hunt this guy down, take a picture of said LS7 mounted in said RX7 & race him ON VIDEO win, lose or draw.

My point was that people are already doing LS7 swaps. If it was already
done to a Firehawk, it could be done to a RX7 just as easily.
