So the the vette was winning in the first race, but you had to get out of it? Second run the vette won, and the third you won? I new it would be close, but my vote was for the vette. Awesome vid man, damn that was a little scary though. Glad you guys are ok. Maybe you can explain the video a little bit?

I knew it would be a LOT closer than everyone thought, and I did figure the vette would edge it at those speeds.
Your snake pulls hard though and that 3rd run you definitely had a nice pull.
Not sure what happened when you did "evasive maneuvers", props to you for not losing your car.

Here's a post i just put up on another forum answering that question..
re: The life threatening experience..
The dumbest thing happened. While I was shifting from 2nd to 3rd my shifter handle ‘moved sideways’ and instead of going into 3rd it went into 1st.. at that speed, the rpms just bounced off the limiter and the tires locked up and you can see from the video what happened next.

OMG !!! Glad ya managed the snake at there buddy and nobody got hurts 
Great race guys...i could barely say the third race was the best out of the three yes it was damn Close but obviously you were a head by 1 car length buddy

Just watched the vid again and i guess i was tooooo tired last night because i didn't see why you had to save it but i saw it his morning and yes, great save.
Its funny, becaue when I raced a GT500 2 weeks ago, the kid did the same thing, went from the top of second to first, I was already about 2 cars out on him but I slammed on the brakes because he was going off the road, but he didn't and he lined back up against me.

Ah I see now. Yeah I did the same thing getting on the an interstate onramp once, nearly wide open from 2nd to 1st. Back tires locked up and I was side to side for a second or two. Definitely scary, and it catches you off guard

My take on the video................
round 1) you lost it
round 2) the vette jumped out and you started to pull back but other cars got in the way??
round 3) you pulled and put about a car 1.5 lengths on the vette.
Good races... the vette sounds orgasmic and bad azz snake!
