New Mustang GT keeps beating me!! Its a new gt, the guy is in his mid-late 30s and hes been out every weekend. I've raced this guy acouple times, first time was going up a hill, and my transmission was in its dead spot 80 kmh. He beat me by 4-5 cars to 180 kmh, he was alone i was with a chick. Next race was last night, i was doing around 65-70 kmh right at the top of 1st. We hit it and through second it was even but after 150 he pulled 1.5 - 2 cars and shut down at 200. I gave him a thumbs up and he gave me this cocky wave, once again he was alone and i was with a chick. I'm very close to saying screw my warrenty and putting my 100 shot, getting a tune and go kill this guy lol

However, I'm not so sure a dig race will be in your best interest. If nothing else, the new GTs can come out of the hole pretty well. I know those GXP's can run with the best of them with the right mods, but FWD is still an asspain to overcome on a launch compared to RWD....especially when putting down some good power numbers.

A good driver on his mark can pull mid 13's out of a stock 05+ GT. Most average drivers will be in the 13.7-14.0 range. But if it has mods (which this GT probably does)....could be anything.
However, I'm not so sure a dig race will be in your best interest. If nothing else, the new GTs can come out of the hole pretty well. I know those GXP's can run with the best of them with the right mods, but FWD is still an asspain to overcome on a launch compared to RWD....especially when putting down some good power numbers.

I know that fwd screws me over cause of weight transfer, etc. but i can launch this thing pretty well, I think racing from a dig takes a lil more skill, this engine revs pretty quick too.

In North Bay.
I think i am going to do that. I just have a dry shot right now and i dunno if i should go with a wet one just to be on the safe side. I have another car incause something happens, but can i take the warrenty off so i don't have to have pay that no more? its not a factory one

my buddys completely stock stick 07 gt went 13.56 at 104
then i tuned it,did gears,jlt intake and charge motion delete plates,on a drag radial car goes high 12s at 107 to 108
on a 100 shot has been a best of 11.78 at 119
