"Land Yachts" vs. Imports
Ok, so a friend of mine has a stock 97 Buick LeSabre with a 3.8 V6 in it, and we used to go cruising a lot. We walked quite a few kids in Hondas with fartcans, and the looks on their faces after we smoked them was priceless (assuming they don't run the next red light). Anybody else have this sort of fun with their land yacht DDs? This is mostly a question for non-LS series DD's, but those are ok too.

I consider my MC SS to be a "Land Yacth" It's an 07, V8 and whatnot. I hate the damn car, but, it does kill ricers rather easily. Got a 3000 GT, an engine-swapped Honda Civic (Apparently had a VW V6 crammed under the hood? Slow as ****, poor guy), an Acura TL or whatever, and a couple 2009 Civic Si's.

I have a 1997 regal GS.. It's a land yacht, I've had some pretty impressive kills in it when the time is right. I have a few mods for it, but have been too busy to put them on yet Gotta love the value that these cars give.

ive beat a few civics and an old subaru with my baby land yatch lol, 94 buick century, 3.1 baby. i give that poor thing so much hell. it was my great grandmas, still only has 45000 miles on it
im seriously considering putting a boosted 3.8 in it, pushing as much as i can out of the stock blower. just to be an insane sleeper lol .

My old winter beater '94 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon, complete with simulated wood panels ran a 15.19 @ 92 MPH, bone stock with the 260 HP iron head LT1. It surprised many street racer wannabe's.

260hp/280 tq exact same as a GP, monte carlo, Impala
its the same 3.8 SC setup in all those cars. whats even worse. theey can run faster times than us with less power. 352whp is all one needed on clubgp.com to run 11s.
the 3.8 in terms of the 1/4 is a superior engine to the 5.7 ls1. 3.8 hits max hp and tq way quicker and hold its long enough to be effective in the quarter mile. but we all know this well....... i hope.
if someone argues this ill just slap you with the Buick Grand National Stick.
though the buick regal GS's were not land yachts and weigh less than ls1s.
