Default 2002 Camaro Z28 M6 vs. new Subaru sti

I was coming home from my friends house, and as I was going up one of the hills around my area, when I saw a new Subaru make a U-turn.

He took the turn pretty fast, and when my light turned green I hit the traction control switch off and took off after him. Made a right on one of the streets and finally got to a stop sign with him.

He rolls down his window right as I'm pulling up to him and says on the third honk go. I said I'm down.

He gets me out of the hole and I spin the tires. I quickly catch up to him and then pass him pretty easily. Damn, I thought those were supposed to be a bit faster.

Then we pull up to another stop sign and decide to go again.
I let out the clutch pretty slow and just gave it enough gas not to spin 'em.
He rips me out of the hole this time, probably almost red line launching the thing. I still pull him up top and by the time we let off ~90mph, I was ahead by 2 cars.

It seemed like he could not drive too well, as it seemed his car stood still for awhile between shifts.

Long story short:
I found a new STI, I raced it twice and I pulled on him both times.

Oh well would have been a waste, you got em anyway. Good Kill Krazy.

I raced a couple with my bolt ons, only one that kept up had some mods cause his turbo blowoff was alot louder than the others and he stuck to my door from a dig until top of third and I had a car on him.

Nice kills. Only once have I run into an STI that was fast and it had dynoed 400 to the wheels. Well we ran a few from a roll and after I beat him decently he found out he was having some issues, so I'm hoping to run into him again once he gets them sorted out.

yea i ran an 2008 sti. we did 2 digs and 1 roll. he def was red lining it and i spun pretty bad. so he got the launch but as i was shifting into 3 i pulled him. then we went from a 30mph roll and well we know the results of that.

i had kinda the same thing, i got ripped out of the hole but those subys dont have the strongest third and out m6 ls1 cars seem to love third. So i ended up pulling pretty good.

And good kill op

Thanks man!!! Slower than I thought they were. Didn't hang around him long enough to get a roll.

Awesome kill! I've been keeping my eye out for them to run one...i dont see to many on the street where i live yet. I bet the owner was thrilled that his brand new, AWD, turbocharged, 30k+ car lost to a "domestic boat" hahaha!! Looks like the LS1 still owns the streets haha!
