Default 07 GT VS. SRT-8 300c

i was cruising down the highway when i noticed a silver srt-8 300 in my rear view mirror. so i decided to get over in the slow lane and slow down a lil to c if he wanted to go. i dropped my car into 3rd and slowed down to about 50 mph. i was hitting the gas a little to let him know im ready when he just jumps on it....no beeping or anything just hammers down. so he got about a fender on me when i started to wheel him back in. i let off around 120 and he was at my rear bump but i was still inching away on him. im gald to finaly race someone again i havent had a single race in about 2 months and have been itching for a little speed lol u guys know wut i mean

Good kill, I haven't ran a 300 or a Charger, I ran an SRT-8 magnum and put buses on him last year.

Nice kill, your times look right in line with the kill but the faster you guys would have gone the stronger he would have been. They are some quick 4dr's though and they really wake up with a CAI and Tune.

i raced a srt8 300C with intake and exhaust. you would do the same with those other cars. they're way too heavy.

lol, that guy should've drove that car better. nice kill! IMO he should've beat you though. they're much quicker from a roll race compared to their acceleration from a dig.

did he have any passengers?

no offense against you, your a fellow mustang owner but this is the 2nd thread you have made comments in that show you dont research vehicles very well, you say that it should be much quicker than him from a roll.. how do you figure. he trapped 111 and a stock 300c usually traps 106-108. a trap speed can help judge how a roll ill turn out!

you misunderstood me. sorry, i shouldve clarified.

i was saying that the srt8 300's are much quicker from a roll than THEY are from a dig. i wasnt saying that in comparison to the OP's gt. i do research cars and i also judge off of my firsthand experiences with racing particular cars.

oh.....and no offense taken. you just misunderstood me, thats all <-----joke

I didn't see any misunderstanding... you implied that an SRT-8 should be quicker from a roll than the OP, when his trap speed says otherwise.

Are the Fords Forums just as unreliable as your cars and down for maintenance or do you just like coming here that much?

Sadly I agree, I constantly drove the **** out of my 01 gt and never had a problem with it. My current car has lower miles and more problems (it's lt1 though) But like they say "there is no replacement for displacement."

BTW nice kill!
