I was involved in a play around race w/ one one those in a 99a4 stock ss...From a stop he hung in there a bit but the ls1 pulled in the upper rpms.

Those beemers are heavy and slow...I eat them for breakfast and so will you... A stock 99 Z28 will pull on it hard for sure.......740's are really not that fast at all....
