im pretty sure BMW 7 series are all autos, right?
lol 310 hp stock?? , you have more HP than that, and if I can only think of another advantage you have?? Ohh maybe you weigh 1/2 a ton less?!
OF COURSE GO AND RACE HIS *** AND SMOKE HIM! besides, even if you weighed the same and made the same HP to the engine, youd still put more horsepower down to thew wheels.

Yes, 5-speed automatics (and they aren't really geared for performance).

I don't think you'll have a problem as long as you don't screw up the launch or miss a shift. Whats with people in the sedans wanting to race f-body's? Someone at work wants to race me in the Lincoln LS he just got. The salesman told him it beats mustangs so he thinks he can take me.... not even worth my gas to race him.

i am a 8 yr master BMWtech.
They did make 750il in 2000. they were v12 that were nothing special. still had cap and rotors.
Now if it were the new 760 than it would be a very close race. If it were a 135/335 than you better bring your lunch and know how to drive.
If you race to the 1/4 you got him. BMW are not known to 1/4 mile. They run better from 60 -150.
He is only producing about 270ish. the new V8 put out around 360 in a 7. if it is v12 than I have no clue.
