Nitrous LS1 Vs. Single Turbo Supra Locially, this supra is suppose to be the sh2t. My buddy with a 93 LX stroker and nitrous who runs on motor what i run nitrous with someon else driving his car. He actually has a little to much to run the way he was running on the street with nittos so he couldnt really go all out obviously. He was going to race this supra. To make a long story short, he won one and lost the rematch. The race he won he was able to spray w/ low pressure the other run he couldnt spray. The run the stang sprayed, he started pulling the supra after 3rd gear slow and the supra looked like he let out to me but said he missed a gear so who knows. The other run, the supra just killed the stang. In the stangs defense, he cant drive for sh3t, i was riding with him and he brought a new meaning to the phrase granny shifting.
Next up, i asked the supra to run. I was on drag radials and the supra did have street tires. I had full bottle pressure, ect. i expected to really lose this from the start, i also heard the supra camming but im not sure on turbo cars if it was a turbo thing or not but sounded like a cam. He wanted the go since he was on street tires so as soon as his nose lifted up i went, i sprayed about 5ft out the hole and hooked! and heard a SNAP commming from my rear end which i later found out was my torque arm ripping halfway off by two bolts. I pulled 2-3 cars ahead out the hole up to 80ish i believe. Then felt an abnormal vibration and let off and looked back and saw the supra gaining so i got back on it against my better judgement due to the abnormal sounds and vibration from the rearend. his pulling from me letting off really slowed down to where i dont think he could have reeled me in by 120. then shortly after i think he let off becaus i REALLY started pulling and passed the line where everyone stood watching. He said he missed a gear, i think he was letting out. Eitherway, i won, the mustang won one and lost one....

Hey tit bar.. his car runs low 11's.... don't count him out......
Btw, the supra driver was either making alot of excuses or has never driven his car before. If he actually managed to miss a gear in 2 out of 3 races, he should not be racing, and possibly even shot.

Removed spare tire and sway bars, only becaus i couldnt bolt up a stock sway bar to the moser 12bolt..... That particular 11.5 pass redrun saw, that was a 7.5 or 7.4 1/8 i believe. i dont have my slips in front of me. After headers i only took it to the track once and it ran a 7.20 1/8th at a 1/8th track, to bad it wasent a 1/4th track to see what it woulda ran up top. That was on a dieing 10 bolt that broke soon after. Its common for the things to break that have broken on my car for running sub 12s. I dont think there is anything left to break drivetrain wise except the transmission.
