Default Which has a quicker 1/4 et?

I was wondering if anyone knew what the 1/4 ets for a 2004 gto with an a4 and a 2001 z-28 with an a4 are.

Yeah, I know that it's a good bit heavier, but it has more power. (I believe that is correct) I have a friend here who has an 04 gto and I was just curious. I will race him as soon as is possible, but I think it would be cool to know that tidbit of info.

Usually a drivers race, being A4 tho the Z should have a SLIGHT edge. If the Z has 2.73's in it then you might lose.

The Z should win that race. The gto is pig heavy and the 04 model year has the EXACT same engine as an 02 Z.

So my car makes 350 at the crank or is that not correct. What I have read, puts the hp numbers at 310 at 5200 rpm and the tq numbers at 335 at 4000 rpm, does that mean to the wheels or at the crank?

It's just GM's ratings game. Your car's going to dyno around the same as an LS1 GTO or Corvette; it's just different on paper.

For the record, I've tried this exact race in my 13.5 second turd. From a 35 roll, I left the guy by a few lengths. The second go around was up higher, around 55, where he was at my back bumper with me inching away.

Fear not, man. You got 'im.

i have owned an 04 gto A4 personally. the z will take it stock for stock. the gto's have a higher top speed and thats about all. I couldnt breank into the 13's and my goat had a k&n intake and diablo tune. 14.17 i think was my best, which i outperformed in my old 93 z28 with a 13.83. Z28>GTO

now i dont know about 350...? my 2001 Z28 dyno'd at 323hp and 337lb torque with exhaust only. some are higher then that also. so yours should be around that. every LS1 engine is different.
