Every one of them I've come across in real life was cocky. Stereotypes don't typically just appear from nowhere...
And what are you implying about us LS1 owners??? What stereotypes do you have to throw at us? That we believe our engines were touched by the hand of God?
That's because they were.

This guy has obviously not read the 15 commandments.
#1 The LS1 cannot be beaten.
#2 All Chargers are stock.
#3 All LS1s run mid/high 12s bone stock from the factory.
#4 Even the SRT Charger is a mid 13 car.
#5 The LS1 was not racing.
#6 The LS1 was parked.
#7 The LS1 was just playing with you.
#8 The LS1 was actually a V-6 with Z28 badges.
#9 The LS1 was actually an LT1, which can only be beaten by an LS1.
#10 The race does not count because it ended before 160mph.
#11 The race does not count because it did not start from a roll.
#12 The race does not count because the LS1's passenger was performing oral on the driver.
#13 The race does not count because the LS1 was not properly tuned.
#14 The LS1 was built by the hands of god.
#15 If you still feel your Charger may have beaten an LS1, please see #1.

I haven't had that problem with LS1 owners either. Maybe it's just you?
Stereotypes are always associated with the "other" car.

I was surprised you wrote this. I haven't observed that and guess what their previous cars were 5-10 years ago? That's right, many of them came from F-bodies.

Again, no offense meant; I was just stating my personal experiences so far. I obviously don't think ALL of you are cocky.

I was kidding around and meant no offense. But that really has been my experience so far. It's kind of funny. Every SRT8 Charger owner I've met is mid-40s and cocky out the *** about his Hemi. I personally think it's kind of funny. And I like the cars, they're too heavy, but other than that I like them.

LOL! I had a similar run in with a Charger SRT8 a few weeks ago. I was in my white WS6 and pulled up beside a red one at a light, I looked over and he immidiately said "you dont want to f@$% with this". I was like WTF! Anyway, light turned and I rolled beside him till around 30mph then put about 10 on him before I let off. He proceeded to do a ricer- fly- by while flipping me off!LOL! What a loser!
I actually like the SRT8 Chargers just seems like everyone that drives one(that I've ran across) is "overly confident".

yes clearly because I don't agree with you I'm a "teenage punk" (and YOU want to bitch about stereotyping?)
for 1 I'm 23 and besides that I have yet to meet someone with a hemi anything that was even a mile from modest...so I'm sorry the hemi brethren you wish to defend are MOSTLY douchebags, but I call em like I see em
Not my fault I get revved at and scowled upon by every inbred dumbfuck with a flowmastered hemi vehicle just because they think they can race and win against everything on the road in hopes of making their peepees grow a 1/4"
mustang guys are the same way, but sadly I can't say the same for ls1 cars because I rarely see any that aren't driven by 40-60 year olds who don't give 2 ***** about street racing

PS - the video link in your sig to your Cobra won't load for me. The page loads, but the video won't do anything or even display the length of the video.

For those who wanted to know more recent times I went to the track tonight and got eliminated because I beat my dialed in time of 11.49. I ran an 11.40@119mph with a 1.56 60ft. The reason I dialed in an 11.49 was because on my time trial (which was right after driving the car to the track, about an hour away) was a 11.51@ 118mph. The longest the car cooled off was 30 minutes between runs. So if I can get the car cooler than that and get some better air it should run at least in the 11.30's. Not bad for a full weight 3600lb H/C/I car..
