My 3rd gen vs 08 Bullit
Guy was a complete douche so I gave him the hit and didnt spray, he ran his mouth for a while and talked me into driving 45mins just for this. Oh well, its always nice to shut up an ignorant person. BTW my car is a 87 Camaro with a 11.5:1 350, a 234/238 hydraulic roller, RHS heads, a built T-56, and alot of bolt-ons and a NX 150 shot(not used) and his car had minor bolt-ons. Watch the video slowly and notice how quickly I pulled past him
Enjoy!

I started 2 cars behind and ended up 2 cars ahead by the end which wasnt even a whole eighth mile. Look at 24secs and then compare it to 28secs, he runs high 8s in the 1/8th and I run mid 7s so it was really a pointless race to begin with.

The car is an auto and he ran that on a hot day, I know they are capable of better than that. BTW what is the difference in a Bullit and a gt besides the appearance mods? I really cant launch on street tires either, we did a highway run later that night and it was ugly. He called me the other day and said he got more mods and wants to run again. The guy is a serious douche so next time well put money on it and ill spray.

The Bullit package is basically (simplified explanation, obviously) like a Stage 1 Saleen/Roush, with 3.73 gears. Intake/exhaust/tuning, plus some light suspension work.

Thanks, should be capable of hanging close to a stock ls1 car then. My buddy raced him later that night in a bolt-on 99 Z28 and beat him by a few cars. I think they look worse than a regular GT but I guess they are supposed to emulate the car from that movie though.

I started behind him and gave him the hit, plus I just rolled on the throttle and kinda bogged for a second. He took off before I expected him to so I didint have my car at the right rpms to get a decent launch, it takes alot of finesse to get it right. I only get to drive my car about once every 3 months because Im in the Marine Corps so I get a lil rusty sometimes.

Nice kill bro that car is a real sleeper. If I saw that car on the road I would never expect it to be that fast. Much less with the spray. Whats it run in the 1/4?

The power of nitrous..Gotta love the juice... That guy needs a new alternator or to raise his rpm's at idle as you can see clearly see his head lights get brighter as he throttles up...
