how well are you hooking up from a dead stop? what are the tires stock on those?

i love the look of them. i just hate how stricter and stricter Safety restrictions are making cars heavier instead of lighter

I'll have to go look at the tires and get back to you. It hooks up great even with the TC off, but I think that's because of the torque management.

I agree 100% on the cars being heavier and heavier. In this case though, just under 4000 lbs isn't bad for a full size 4 door with the room it has. It weighs over 100 lbs less than a Challenger and isn't far off from a GT500.

Good Kill.

I would not be in a rush to mod that car. Let the z28 be the fast car

If its anything like my GTO was it wont spin the tires until about 15,000 miles. I could put it in first and stand on it at any rpms and it would just go. Then once it broke in some it blows them off now at any rpms in first and almost anywhere in second.

Good to see the G8 getting some good press. It's not bad for a grocery getter!

Yeah, that's pretty much my plan. The G8 will eventually get some mods, but nothing crazy and it won't be for a while.

I'm thinking that it'll get even better with some miles, but it sounds like a tune is what will really wake it up.
