Old GT40 called = GT40
New GT40 (remake of the original) = Ford GT (even though some source may continue to call it GT40 )
Jibby, these guys can be rough. We learn and move on, dont take it so personally.
You guys could be a bit more gentle when trying to educate in general since most of you know exactly what you are talking about. Lets try to make everyone comfortable when they are in street kills. Im arguing with a guy now about TSP parts and it looks so immature, serriously.

I'm straightened out...... I do like these new Ford GT's, I must admit... Almost as much as like the Z06's... They rip and sound tought as hell...I want one... How much are they new, anyone know?

I'll leave it open and hope you all get along.
The Ford GT's are too much and C6Z's (short for C6 Z06) will put a length or two on them usually. C6Z is the car to own hands down. Or a C6 w/402/L92's and 150 shot.

I agree Jay... Z06's are beasts..
I did try and find a race between a new Ford GT and a Z06 but came up short, but what I did find is this race....The very fast S65 AMG Merc against a ZO6 Vette. Worth a look....
I also got used by one of these S65 AMG's about a year ago as they are scary fast too... I simply won't mess with the Ford GT, the Z06 and the S65 AMG's...

MSRP was about $150k. a c6 z06 would be a better buy, but ford gts are beasts especially twin turboed!! stock they have a supercharger fyi. i think vipers and vettes are a better race too. like hennessey viper vs lingenfelter vette!!

The Supercharged Calloway Vette's are absolutely rediculous with close to 600hp's....Have any of you guys heard of those? I think they are very limited in production.....I saw a few of these Calloway's at a recent car show here in LA, Cali...and was very impressed with the writeup on them... I think the Z06's look better, but I don't think the Z06's perform better..

WOW, a 1000hp TT, now that is nice... I saw a Supercharged one at the auto show sporting 580hp's... What a difference..

C6Z is one of the few vette's I'd own. The only thing I hate about both cars, is the 'stereotype' you get with it.
I'd love to put a FGT motor inside a Mach or 03/04 Cobra though.
