Hotchkiss spring users - stock DeCarbons OK, or ???
Just ordered up a set of the Hotchkiss 1"-drop
springs from tbyrne (couldn't pass up the sale
price) and I'm thinking at this sort of drop
and sorta-normal spring rate at level (these
are progressive springs), the stock DeCarbon
shocks might still be OK? Looking for some
feedback from those with these springs, before
I go taking stuff apart it would be good to
have the right shocks to go back on. And I
could stand to not spend $400 for Bilsteins
unnecessarily.

I have the bilsteins and love the ride. I know that isnt what you asked. however if your gonna spend the money to have the springs put in misewell have the shocks put in at the same time. You can get Bilsteings for $295.00 shipped to your door from bimmerparts.com.
