Default GC coilover kit with a moser 9"...

does anyone know FOR SURE wether or not the GC coliover rear spring perches can be used on a moser 9" rear end? i remember reading somewhere on here long ago that they do not fit in the moser spring cups? i tried searching and got nothing.

From looking at pictures of the spring cups, I'd say no...they are way taller than stock, and knowing how the GC rear perches work, they'd end up sitting too high, if they'd even fit the way they're supposed to.

Not a definitive answer, but you'll know as soon as someone can post up the I.D. of the Moser spring cup.

those rear ends already have perch's welded to them on top of the axle. What you could do is cut off that perch and make a custom one that fits that cup that goes in it with the screw that moves the spring up n down. On my GC kit there was a gold threaded sleeve that is supposed to fit in the 10bolt housing but it doesnt fit in a 12bolt or 9". So im assuming you can either reweld a bigger perch to fit that gold sleeve in there the way it needs to be done. Id call GC and ask them, however when i did that they werent very much help.

ya thats what i was thinking of but not really tempted to do it..
isnt there some other manufacturer that makes rear spring perches for many applications? maybe they would have one that would fit? any like nascar or drag race suspension retailers?
