As I said before. I have no orders left pending, and had no orders from UMI for springs (a few for hollow bars which we're still waiting on).

I did not take your order. I do not have an order left on backorder (just some that came in over the weekend). I can't ship what I don't have paperwork for.

If you want a set, I *STRONGLY* suggest you get to my website and order a set directly, and right now. I've got less than 17 sets remaining as I type this.

Repeatedly asking what's up won't help. I've told you what the deal is on my end (twice in fact).

sam i have 2 questions.
1. how much time after we lower the car should we get the alignment done?
2. do you have a specific recommendation sheet for the alignment? or is the factory alignment sheet good enough?

If the car was not lowered before, you need an alignment as soon as possible. If you don't, you could well see some bad tire wear and the car will not track right due to the change in alignment from the lowering.

Officially: Stock. Unofficially I set the camber a bit more negative for increased cornering grip (around -1 degree for street use, more for more aggressive driving, less if you drive hundreds of interstate miles a week). Caster and toe to OE spec for street driven cars.

If your ride height in front remains the same (which means you need to measure before and after), and you don't loosen or remove the lower control arm then your alignment will remain very close to what it was.

Here's another "official" statement. You should always realign cars when doing work involving ride height or moving of control arms (and the uppers come out to do the front springs/shocks).

thanks Sam I went ahead and took the car today to get it align and it feels better now.

how long does it take for the srpings to settle?

btw i got lifetime alignment and tire balance at brake check for $99 so anyone who is looking at getting an alignment might want to try it out.

it did take them awhile to get it done though he said that the lowering really messed with the alignment BUT besides that i dont know how good my alignment was before that since i had never gotten it align since i bough the car.

Good springs won't change much at all once you drive on them the first time. So far I've not had one report of mine ending up significantly different in height down the road like some others (which is one of, but not the only reason the springs are made where and how they are.

I'm down to around 15 (but haven't processed orders that came in overnight, so it could be less).

Intrax are not rebranded Eibach's, like you seem to intimate in your other thread. No really knowing what your true height is, I can't give you an absolute ok on the fix. But you pics do seem much closer to the stop than my springs are (but you are never a long way from them, but at least 2-3 times further than you are is about right).

Yes, I think a spring change would help. So would a set of standard Z28 bumpstops...

sweet thanks sam i though that maybe all springs had a time frame where they would settle/break in/adjust etc.

THanks Sam, UMI cleared everything up. I finally got my tracking number. I am surprised the package weighs 27 pounds.

Has everyone who had a set of springs ordered and invoiced directly through Strano Performance Parts gotten the springs *or* a FedEx shipping notification?

I had a snafu where a set was invoiced, but for some reason I missed shipping it. I want to make sure everyone got their parts before I run out!!!! Please let me know only if you haven't gotten your springs or a shipping notification that they have been shipped.

Thank you--back to regularly scheduled programming.
