Default Update: Strano Performance Parts Lowering Springs

I have an update for those of you who have springs on backorder, or are waiting to place an order:

Springs have all been wound, and have already left Germany. They are on a ship somewhere in the Atlantic, and should arrive at my shop in roughly 2.5 weeks time. They must arrive, clear customs, and then be picked up by truck for shipment to my shop.

As soon as the springs arrive, I will begin filling orders. Oldest backorders are filled first, and all backorders are filled before any new orders are shipped (that's only fair).

We have about 100 sets coming in, of which some 34 are sold.

We have some bars in stock. Hollow rears, solid fronts. No hollow fronts for the forseeable future.

You need to talk to UMI about that since you ordered from them....

The front springs have the same rate but our rear springs are a little stiffer.

No. And they aren't the same despite claims (a look at the photos of each will confirm that).

Mine are truly linear 550 fronts, rears are 100-150 progressives, but wound in such a way that the 100 pound tender rate is taken up and dead with the weight of the car just sitting on the springs, leaving only the linear working rate of 150.

Hollow rears are in stock now. Solid fronts are. I can do Hotchkis hollow fronts teamed with my more appropriately sized rear (as far as I'm concerned) from time to time if demand dictates. However, the Hotchkis front is in between my hollow front and my solid front on weight, and significantly more money.

No ETA on fronts at this time. Material issue, but I am talking to other suppliers to see if I can have bars made to my spec and satisfaction at a reasonable cost.

I May order a set of these while you have them in stock then! Guess a 100 sets probably won't last long.
Will these work well with stock shocks, though? I want to pick up a set of Konis but cash doesn't allow for that right now.

They do go quickly. Remember that there are 100 sets on the way, but about 1/3rd of those are already spoken for. Meaning thre are only about 60 sets still left for sale on this run....

One good thing about winter is the winter projects. All the time and cold beer you need to get it done.
