Default DIY front coilovers

Has anyone ever done DIY front coilovers on their 4th gen F-Body?

I've done it numerous times on the struts of my other play cars but never heard it done on FBods before.

My car sits a smidge ~3/4" lower on the front right side. I bent it up pretty good in 2004. But it was close enough that alignments have never been a problem. But I need to get it straight. I figure coilovers will be the easiest method...

And I run these on the rear ...

Any rate or ride height I want. I use 8" free height springs on the front and 11" on the rear using the factory spring rubber.

4th gen front ends are coilovers straight from the factory.

If you are discussing the installation of adjustable aftermarket components, Ground Control is a good place to start.

Yes, coilover sleeves.

I'm thinking about GC myself.

I've got some GC sleeves/spring seats, and springs!

These were exactly what I was taliking about...

Thanks Mitch! Any idea how long the springs should be? I want about 450lb springs FWIW.

And as far as I'm concerned, GC's are way too expensive if I can put sleeves and custom springs on for ~$200. All I want is to be able to adjust ride height.

8", 10" or 12" springs will work on a 4th gen application. The longer the spring, the more suspension travel you will have before coil bind. Could be an issue with an 8" 450lb spring.
