"Pop" on launch (video inside)
Inside, we both heard it as a "Bang" that sounded like it was under the rear of the center console.
It didn't do it any other time during the run, nor during the drive home. I ripped through the gears a few times during my drive home, but did not launch from a stop. No noises, pops, or bangs at all during the 40 mile drive home.
I have my theories, but am interested to see what other think.
Car:
stock torque arm & bushing
10-bolt, GM 4.10's, diff cover with load bolts.
stock LCA's with 1LE bushings
poly engine/trans mounts
Long tubes, no cats, Bassani true duals (but it didn't have that exhaust hitting the body sound at all)

anyway...When mine did that, the car bent the front torque arm "clamshell" and upon inspection it looked the root cause was a bad front stock rubber torque arm bushing (it was split totally in two). I replaced bushing with a new poly one and it's been fine for many 1.60 or less sixty foots since.
