Ive got air spring in the rear of my car, works great! the only reason I don't have them up front is because you have no choice in the shock used.
Mine's just a bolt on A.R.T. kit.
Slammed1500 has a totally custom setup!
Check my photo Albums for pictures.

I've always been interested in doing it, I'd love to have adjustable ride height on-the-go. It just seems there is no easy to do it and the kits are like >$2200 so I was sort of dead-ended... given that I have no experience with air suspensions

I put airride in the back of my camaro with manual air valves, the cost under $400 shipped to my door. I had/have no plans to raise/lower it every 5 minutes, probably about every 1-2 weeks for me. So manual air valves has worked perfect for me and the ride quality is great, and the handling (to me) is as good as any coil springs I've had in the car (5 sets, with counting the factory springs). Air ride works great for me!, even if it's only on half of my car!

idk depends how its set up, when i hear "bagged" it kind of gives off the negative connotation of that slammed lowrider look, which yeah i know to each his own but, imo just isnt right on f bodys. and i know if a car has airbags it doesnt necessarily mean that. but idk, i know im not being very open minded lol.

If more people had experience with airride, then I think the attitude towards it would be different. To me it is one of the best suspensions for a street car. It rides very very well, you can slam the car when parked giving a killer look, if you have an obsticle to clear you can raise the car up to clear it.
Airbags arn't hydrolics like are used on lowriders.

Airbags are one of the best suspensions you can get. The lack of shock choice for the front is the only issue for me as well since it's an intergrated bag/shock combo. On my 67 C10 though I have bags on all 4 corners and it's great. You get a great stance, good ride, adjustable when needed for towing/hauling. I don't see a negative other than if a bag blows, but even then if you set it up right you can still limp home on the bump stops.
