Good Street/Strip Shocks?
Thinking about replacing the stock shocks with some QA1's:
Front SA OED7855P
Front Springs 15FB300
Rear SA TC2501P
What do you guys think? 300lb spring rate OK? Thanks for any advice

I've been doing alot of research lately since I'm basically looking for the same thing....pretty much everyone says that the Strange's are better than the QA1's, both cost about the same too. A 300lb. spring would probaly be best IMO atleast thats what I'm going with since the car isn't a full out drag car nor do I care about having a car that handles like it has Koni's.

Hello, if you still have a/c and power steering and haven't done alot of weight removal then go with the 325lb springs. If the car will see some street driving. If you have lightened it up go with the 300lb. If you use Strange shocks use their springs. Same goes for QA1. If you have any questions or need the shocks and springs give me a call. We have very competitve pricing on both brands.

Stock front springs are 292lbs/in, IMO there is no reason to go with a higher spring rate if you are looking for a drag setup. You generally want the lower spring rate so the car will transfer more weight.

Im running the strange SA front and back. Great shock! Easy to adjust and the adjustments actually do something unlike other brands. I run mine at 5 all the way around and it rides more comfortably then stock and handles about the same. Im also running the QA1 325 springs up front and the stockers in back. If your a stock weight car get the 325. Thats what madman told me and Im really glad I did. When I set the shocks to zero up front it transfers plenty of weight.
