Default Who makes aluminum lca's?

Anyone other than Metco? I'd prefer poly bushings vs. rod ends.

Thanks!

Hello, we offer a billet set made from 6061 T6 aluminum that are black anodized with the urethane bushings. Very heavy duty set.

mark from 6LE sells a adjustable on car aluminum set out of 2024. and nothing against BMR ^^^ but 2024 is stronger. you guys should make it out of that. 6061 is the strongest that can be machined and welded. well your not welding it. and 2024 is the strongest that can be machined but not welded.

also why does it have the two holes in it? why not make it like your 2005 mustang style. the reason gm put the two holes in it. is cause in the 80s when the g-body cars had the same control arms. there rear swar bar was bolted two those holes. well we dont do that? so just wonderign why you did them that way?

6061 is already over kill for our design application

As you noted it's the same control arm as the G-body so one part # works for 2 different applications

I think Pavlock makes aluminum LCAs. I dont know if he has poly bushings on them though. Hes a sponsor (Pavlock Performance), so a quick search on his page could help you find what you need.

The billet arms are 2 pounds per arm heavier than the tubular ones.

Pavlock doesn't do a poly bushing ended LCA, I emailed him last week.

How is aluminum heavier than steel? I'm not seeing a benefit to running those LCA's.

I had rod ends in my last LS1 Formula, it sounded like the rear was gonna fall out of the car on the street. I street drive much more than I drag race, so I'm not willing to deal with that again.

same here, and the noise is not that big of a deal, I barely even notice it. If it bothers you then get a 10" subwoofer and/or a cutout.
