The main advantage of the sleeve bags in the rear is the amount of travel you get. The rear axle can move 8" up and down and the sleeve bag has about 8" of travel as well.
Double convoluted bags tend to have only 5"-6" of travel. So if you set it up to drop the car all the way you won't be able to lift it up fully. It will be 2"-3" shy of full extension.

It wouldnt be such a big deal in some cars, but mine lays flat out...so it had to be raised..over and over and over and over..so I used up all my head pressure to get it off the interstate..came in to a pilot station dragging the hell out of it

Make sure it doesn't rub anything. That's about all.
I wish there were a spool valve that would work well with air bags. When it's closed, it doesn't need pressure to stay that way, plus it can serve as fill and dump in the same unit. I only know of one company using spool valves in a manifold and they are said to be leaky and limited in pressure handling.
One thing I will be changing in my setup is replacing the plastic line on my front bags to a short length of braided line. I've heard that plastic line is not made for moving parts and will eventually fail. If I turn my front bags upside down so that the air fitting is on top it won't be moving at all. It will be in a fixed position. So I might do that instead.

A floating cup looks like this
you bolt the bag to the cup and the cup rests in the spring pocket. Very simple, can be made with some pipe and flat plates, or bought for 39.99 at suicidedoors or the like.

The bags I mentioned above having only 5"-6" of lift are the ones that would come close to fitting. You need about a 5" diameter bag and a double convoluted doesn't have the range.

I sorta disagree on the cups part. I'm not thinking they need much modification except maybe cutting them down shorter and cutting a hole in the side for an airine., or running the line straight up in the car. the cup just sits just like a factory spring would in the pocket.

I'm redoing everything up front. Building a whole new front suspension from scratch without the shock towers. Short aluminum spindles with vette hubs. New fabbed up lower control arms, new adjustable upper arms, different style of bag, different shocks, etc...
The first several pages are pretty old, so skip to the last few.

Do the bumpers scratch when you lift one side and then the other? Like, if you lift the back first, does the front bumper hit the ground? Is it just a matter of doing them bit by bit back and forth? Is there a way to make both sides go up at the same time?

As far as controlling how it raises and lowers you can put valves on each wheel and set up switches to control any combination of valves you want. Like one toggle to raise all 4 corners or just the left side or both front, etc... That's pretty easy to setup afterwards.
