Default Hydrolics / air ride ??

Hi,

What I would like to do is keep my stock springs, add koni 4/4 SA (would of bought koni's by now, but I lost my job ), but be able to lift the height at the front with the touch of a button, to clear speed bumps etc.

I would like to know if this is possable with my planned set up, as the added height could be usefull if I do the perch mod / later swap springs, and I also have front ground effects, making my car already a touch lower at the front.
And you should see some of our speed humps

So is this possable?
Thanks for the advise

Thanks for the link Mike, this sounds like just the sort of thing I'm after.

The ring cylinder unit is mounted between spring cap and spring.
I see it's a universal unit, I guess it installs without having to cut / bodge something. So I just take front spring off, slide over the cylinder unit, and replace the spring?
(I've seen too many 'universal' things, that don't fit a cr@p, and require all sorts of cutting, an I don't want to hack up my car)

This would be great if I do get lowering springs as well.

Thanks for the advise

You'll also need to take it into account for your normal ride height...it effectively moves the spring perch...so the car will ride higher until you trim the spring...which will affect the overall spring rate (make it stiffer)...so "lowering springs" might not actually lower the car at all if you use them in conjunction with that.

Yeah.. loss of job and wanting to put in a button controlled air ride kit doesn't seem to mix too well. I'm sure you've seen JasonWW's thread though, he's got a cheaper solution but seems like you still need to do a bit of modification.
