Coilovers: fighting ride height, about to give up
Been fighting my ride heights on this one. Before I pulled the old setup apart I put a piece of tape on all 4 corners and marked what they measured and now with the new setup installed I keep fighting 1 corner or the other being a good 1/8 too low. Right now I have all but the right rear just about spot on but the right rear is over 1/8 low. When I try to componsate for this like split the differenece all the way around it just gets everything off again. Any advice on proper method to adjust ride height would be great. I have the shocks on full loose all 4 corners so they can do what they want. Thanks.

I would not say 1/8 is not a big difference. I am not talking about the side to side but where all 4 corners were sitting. The left to right is already about 3/16 off. I am just trying to get it spot on to where it was before. I know it can be done since we are only dealing with 2 adjuctment points since the rears are not adjustable. I guess I will just have to keep playing with it. Thanks again.

In the rear I do. But not in the front.
This might help.
Before specs: LF:26 3/8 RF: 26 1/4
LR:27 1/8 RR: 26 15/16
After specs: LF: 26 1/4 RF: 26 1/8
LR: 27 RR: 26 7/8
before I was 3/16 difference between left and right both front and rear. Noew I am only 1/8.

IMO, 1/8" is a small variation.
And unless you measure it on a surface that's known to be perfectly flat and level, then it could just be the surface your parked on, or a small difference in your tire pressure.
Look at it this way, if you car was perfectly level right now, it wouldn't be once you got in your car it would now be lower on the drivers side.
Enjoy you car!
