You can only do the lower perch with Koni SA shocks.

As mentioned above Koni SAs have the lower perch. There are other methods of adjustable perch shocks but Bilsteins aren't one of them. The strano bilsteins are made for stock springs.

A lot of these guys say they don't have problems but I personally would be worried about wearing through as it isn't designed for that.....especially over time.

"Hose Mod" Get about 36" of some 5/8" I.D. Oil/fuel line hose and cut it in half. Spray some Windex in each hose and on the top coil, right before sliding the hose on. Push it on until it's covering 1 full coil, and leave about 1/2" to 1" of hose extended past the end of the spring end. Then cut off the excess and reinstall the springs.

I ran the heater hose mod for over 3 years before swapping to Strano springs. There was absolutely zero discernable wear on the hose when I pulled the old springs out. If there was any rubber actually worn off, it would take decades to come close to wearing through the hose entirely.
